1)強度的差異。由于直接采用超細玻璃棉生產，承壓能力差，只能用于低壓、小風管。成品防護要求高，易被后期水電及裝修工程破壞。沒有清潔。

2)怕潮濕。超細玻璃棉具有很高的吸水率。如果表面密封不到位，尤其是開槽后，會吸收大量水分，降低絕緣性能和強度。

鋁箔聚氨酯風管是中間絕緣材料是聚氨酯，兩側復合鋁箔制成的片狀風管。空氣管的主要特點之一是光,但火性能不能滿足需求是其大的短缺,高層建筑大火“代碼”和“民用建筑火災代碼”規(guī)定,通風管類的材料必須不燃材料。夾芯風管只能達到高B1水平，其配件和膠水為有機材料，高也只能達到B1水平，不符合標準。夾芯風管強度差，抗壓能力差也是其主要缺點之一。
